Don't you just love this month? Two big reasons to celebrate this February. First would be CNY, and with CNY comes my Turkey trip (yahoo) and then Valentine's day! Not really a fan of Valentine's day though because everything is so overpriced. But I love seeing girls holding flowers and being all chummy with their significant others. The husband, then boyfriend stopped sending me flowers during Valentine's because it's double the price! But this year he made a turn for it and I'm surprisingly not annoyed at the gesture. It does really feel good to know that you're worth the extra buck.
Anyway, back to how I celebrated CNY. Since Singapore has a (very) limited number of public holidays one has to be smart on how to spread your limited corporate leaves to take advantage of long weekends. Booked our Istanbul trip last September and I've been ecstatic ever since. It has always been part of my bucket list because of the Asia and Victorian architecture plus the food! I'll write a separate blog post on Istanbul because it deserves one (or two).
Back from my trip and in time for my monthly visitor. Apart from cramps, bloating and discomfort I also have massive cravings. Don't you just feel like finishing that bag of chips or that pint of ice cream in front of the TV? or do you ever get that constant hunger pangs and you just have to munch on something every hour?
