Ichi just turned 9 months a few days back (11th of January 2020). Wow, how time flies! After successfully potty training her completely on her 4th month, the next hurdle was feeding. We import her food from Japan because of the lack of choices in the domestic market. The puppy stage is crucial to the development and ultimate health of a dog. I would like Ichi to maximise her growth potential and take in as much nutrients as she can.

I got introduced to Real Nature Holistic Dog Food No.1 Prairie Lamb and I was so eager for Ichi to try it. The first thing I did was read the label. I am very careful with kibbles and treats I feed Ichi because she might be allergic to some of the ingredients or it might contain chemicals and preservatives that have a bad effect in the long run.

Ingredients found in Real Nature Holistic Dog Food No. 1 Prairie Lamb:

I also researched on other perks of Real Nature Holistic Dog Food No.1 Prairie Lamb:

Alleviates dry skin and provides nutrients for unhealthy hair and skin
• Brings out a healthy dog with shiny skin and coat
• High-quality protein & fat from lamb that support skin hydration and skin care
• Synergistic effect of lecithin and fish oil enables nutrition to reach hair follicle directly, promoting shiny and glossy coat
• Provides nutrients that dogs cannot produce themselves, helps to support shiny and glossy fur

• Functional food gives protection and comprehensive health care
• No Corn/Potato/Soybean/Artificial additives
• Suitable for all breeds especially those with problematic skin

While my dog has healthy skin and shiny coat it doesn’t hurt to be careful with the food intake. It also comes in a resealable bag so you do not have to worry about keeping it fresh. I’m not sure about the taste, but I’m sure it’s tasty because Ichi finished it in one go (without breaks!) Finally, I have an alternative that is available locally online via sgpets.com.sg.
