Ending my Boston trip with a massage
Back in Singapore after my 3-day business trip in Boston
(which felt like a week) because of the time difference and the 23-hour flight
(1 layover in London). This is my first time in Boston, and unfortunately I
wasn’t able to extend due to work commitments so I wasn’t able to explore the
area that much except for my CVS Pharmacy and TJ Maxx run. Confession: I hoard
toothpastes, body wash and pharmacy cosmetics in the US because they’re like
50% cheaper than Singapore. Our team offsite took place at Battery Wharf, which
is on the North End part of the city. It’s overlooking the river and it’s
really nice. Sadly meetings start from 8:30 am all the way to post dinner so no
time to breathe in the fresh air and just chill. I had a little time to visit the
financial district during my last day before catching my flight back to
Singapore. Shamelessly asked my colleague to snap some photos #thingsyoudo.
Slightly jetlagged,
but coffee and #blogdebts woke me up. First order of business was a 90-minute
Aromatherapy massage at Le Spa. Le Spa is a 24-hour spa and massage located at
three convenient locations in Singapore. Decided to visit the Mohammed Sultan
branch because the hubby wanted to have brunch afterwards at Robertson Quay.
There are around 15 rooms in this outlet and females and males treatment room and locker rooms are separated. If massage is not for you, then you can try other services on their menu. Immediately slammed on the massage bed after changing into their comfortable robe. For those of you thinking massage is a luxury in Singapore, I am with you! But for only $38 you can enjoy a 45-minute massage.
